PARKING LOT FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 8th

This Sunday, August 8th, the west parking lot will be closed for sealing and striping. Sorry for the short notice and inconvenience, we just found out yesterday. Please park in the east lot, or we can also use the lot across the street where Subway is located.

St. Paul’s Softball games

Come on out and cheer on St. Paul’s softball team! The last game will be at Fossil Creek Park.8/9 @ 7 PM

"Backyard Potluck’s"

The Next St. Paul’s Backyard pot-luck will be at Anita & Charlie Basham, Fri., Aug. 20th. Please call 491-9938 to RSVP, get directions and to let the hosts know what type of dish you will bring. Please bring an extra chair as well. Grill & Hot tub will be provided. See you there!

Lunch at the Hospitality Kitchen

St. Paul's Outreach is responding to an urgent need at the Mission for lunch-time help at the Hospitality Kitchen.

We're responsible for providing 2-3 volunteers on 4th Tuesdays of each month, from 9 am to 1 pm, to help prepare and serve lunch to needy families of Ft. Collins. Please sign up for a 2 or 4 hour shift on the bulletin board in Bacon Hall. Questions? Call Bridget at 484-6724 or email bridget@frii.com. August youth event is a pizza and games party on Sat., Aug. 21 from 5 til 8 p.m. at St. Paul's. Hope to see all youth (entering 6th grade and up) there! Contact Karin for details at kwangber@psdschools.org or 988-9227.

Family Kickball Game

There will be another family kickball game on Sunday, August 15 on the front lawn. Bring a picnic lunch for your family and then join us for a rousing game of kickball, adults vs. kids.

Painting of the Ceiling in Bacon Hall We need your help! Bacon hall is beginning to come together and looking great. But! We still need help painting the ceiling this Saturday, August 14th @ 9 AM. Lunch will be served! We hope to see you all there!

St. Paul’s Oral History Project

Needs a Few Good Listeners The oral history project at St. Paul’s is rolling along quite nicely and just beginning the second round of interviews with current and former parishioners and clergy. We have a core group of interviewers, however, could use more. All that is needed is a desire to listen to others, the ability to operate (relatively easy) audio equipment, and a willingness to explore St. Paul’s history. The time commitment is roughly several hours per month, with initial 3 hour training. If you are interested in participating or finding out more details, please contact Nancy Freeman at nfreeman@frii.com or 222-4663.

The Homeless Shelter at the Mission is in need of volunteers to assist in preparing and serving meals. Espically for the second Thursday of the month from 5:30-7:30 PM. Sign up on the bulletin board in Bacon Hall, or give Joan Nancy Freeman a call at 222-4663.

Hospitality Kitchen:

St. Paul’s volunteers at the Catholic Charities Hospitality Kitchen for dinner the 2nd Thurs. of every month and for lunch the 4th Tues. of the month. We help prepare and serve meals for the homeless. There is a sign- up sheet in Bacon Hall. If you have questions, please contact Nancy Freeman at 222-4663.
